Before the start of the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian team will play a five-match T20 series against Australia in November-December. After this the Indian team will do T20 tour against South Africa. Where the Indian team will play 3 T20, 3 ODI and 2 test matches. After this, the Indian team will play a three-match T20 series against Afghanistan at home in January. At the end of January 2024, India has to take the field to play a five-match Test series against England. From January to March, Team India will play a five-match series against England under the ICC World Test Championship and then IPL 2024 will start. A total of 74 matches will be played between March and May and each player will get a chance to play approximately 10 matches. Right after this the team will play the T20 World Cup.
