Indian Railways will install extra coaches in many trains for the convenience of passengers going home on the festivals of Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath. Shardiya Navratri has started from 15th October. In such a situation, people studying, working and doing business living in other provinces are worried about going home. They are getting waiting tickets in trains. Considering the problems of passengers, Indian Railways has decided to install additional coaches in many trains. After installation of additional coaches in many trains including Doon Express, Chandigarh Express, Jammu Tawi Express, waiting tickets ranging from 80 to 150 will be confirmed. Till now, the timetable for operation of 10 festival special trains has been released by the Railways. Seats are already full in regular trains. The waiting list has reached up to 200 in many trains. Let us tell you that in trains with one extra coach, up to 80 waiting tickets and up to 150 waiting tickets in trains with two extra coaches will be confirmed.
Festival special train will run between Jammu Tawi-Barauni from today
Operation of a festival special train between Jammu Tawi-Barauni will start from Thursday. 04646 Jammutawi-Barauni Express will depart from Jammutawi at 5:45 am and reach Bareilly at 7:21 pm via Pathankot, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Ambala, Saharanpur. At the same time, 04645 Barauni-Jammuvi Express, after leaving Barauni at 3:15 pm on Friday, will reach Bareilly at 7:05 am the next day via Hajipur, Chhapra, Gorakhpur, Sitapur. In Up-Down, Railways will operate this train till December 1.
Another special train will run between Anand Vihar-Saharsa
Railways has decided to operate another festival special train between Anand Vihar-Saharsa. This train of 22 coaches will make four trips each up and down from November 8 to 19. 04052 Anand Vihar-Saharsa Festival Special will depart from Anand Vihar at 10:45 pm on November 8, 11, 14 and 17 and reach Bareilly at 4:27 am. Will reach Saharsa at 3:30 am the next day. 04051 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Festival Special will leave from Saharsa at 7 am on 10, 13, 16 and 19 November. It will reach Bareilly at 4:28 am and Anand Vihar at 10:30 am.
4 trains including Varanasi-Patna passenger canceled till 23rd, route of these trains changed
Four pairs of trains including 03289/03298 Varanasi-Patna running from Cantt station of Varanasi have been canceled from Thursday. Senior DCM Rekha Sharma said that train number 03289/03298 Varanasi-Patna Passenger, train number 03649/03650 Banaras-Buxar Special, train number 03359 Barkakana-Varanasi Passenger Special and train number 13553 Asansol-Varanasi Express from 19 to 23 October. No. 13554 Varanasi-Asansol Express is canceled from 20th to 24th October.
Four trains including Doon will go via Zafarabad, Ayodhya
There is NI block between Jaunpur Junction and Jaunpur City railway station due to chord line. In such a situation, changes have been made in the routes of trains originating from and passing through Lucknow division. Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Rekha Sharma said that 13009 Doon Express will go via Varanasi Cantt-Jaffrabad-Ayodhya Cantt-Lucknow from 18th to 27th October. Whereas 12238 Jammu Tawi-Varanasi Express will go via Lucknow-Sultanpur-Zafarabad-Varanasi Cantt on 18, 19 and 27 October. 14854 Marudhar Express will go via Lucknow-Ayodhya Cantt-Zaffrabad-Varanasi Cantt on 19, 21, 23 and 26 (via Ayodhya Cantt). 19167 Ahmedabad-Varanasi City Sabarmati Express will run via Lucknow-Ayodhya Cantt-Zaffrabad-Varanasi Cantt on 19, 21, 23, 24 and 26 October. Whereas, 13240 Kota-Patna Express (via Sultanpur) will run via Lucknow-Sultanpur-Zaffrabad-Varanasi Cantt on 21, 23, 24 and 25 October.
Varanasi-Bahraich Intercity canceled till 31st October
Due to doubling work between Ayodhya station and Darshan Nagar railway station of Lucknow division, some trains are being canceled and some are being changed from October 24 to 31. In this, the previously canceled 14213 Varanasi City-Bahraich Intercity Express was canceled till 31st October. Whereas 14214 Bahraich-Varanasi City Intercity Express is canceled till number one. While 13307 Dhanbad-Ferozepur Ganga Sutlej Express changed its route from 23rd to 30th October via Varanasi Cantt-Janghai-Ma Belha via Devi Dham Pratapgarh-Lucknow, 18103 Tata Nagar-Amritsar Express changed its route from 23rd to 25th October via Varanasi Cantt-Janghai-Maa Belha. Devi Dham will go via Pratapgarh-Lucknow.
