However, on Monday, the next day of Chhath, there was a crowd of only normal passengers at Patna Junction. On the other hand, seats in major trains going to Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru are full. There is waiting till 30th November in major trains like Delhi going Sampoorna Kranti Express, Shramjeevi Express, Tejas Rajdhani Express, Magadha Express, Mumbai going Patliputra-LTT, Rajendra Nagar LTT and Bengaluru going Sanghamitra Express, Patna-Kota etc.
Up to 350 people are waiting in the sleeper class of these trains, while more than 165 people are waiting in the third AC also. Passengers arrived to make reservations on different dates: According to the information received from the reserved ticket counters of Patna Junction, maximum number of people are coming from Patna to New Delhi to make reservations on different dates. Apart from this, people are also booking tickets for other cities including Mumbai, Kota, Ahmedabad, Ernakulam.
12393 Sampoorna Kranti: In sleeper class, there is 372 waiting list on 21st November, 368 on 22nd November, 275 on 23rd November and 243 waiting list on 24th November. There is a waiting list of 139 to 167 in third AC class from 21 to 30.
12309 Rajendra Nagar Tejas Rajdhani: 50 waiting on 21st November, 138 on 22nd November, 137 on 23rd November and 162 waiting on 24th November.
12142 Patliputra-LTT: There is 26 waiting list on 21st November, 98 on 22nd November, 97 on 23rd November and 80 waiting list on 24th November in sleeper class. In Third AAC, there are 76 waiting cases on 21st November, 58 on 22nd November, 55 on 23rd and 70 on 24th November.
For the convenience of passengers, the Railway Administration has released the list of vacant seats on Sunday evening. Chief Public Relations Officer of PUMRE, Virendra Kumar said that if passengers book their seats in special trains, then the journey can become easier. Train No. 07004 Patna Hyderabad Special, Train No. 02831 Dhanbad Bhuneshwar Special, Train No. 04017 Bapudham Motihari, Train No. 01422 Danapur Pune, Train No. 05973 Nutinshukia, Train No. 01706 Danapur Jabalpur, Train No. 03236 Danapur Sahebganj, Train No. 05522 Ambalakant Saharsa etc. Seats are vacant in sleeper and 3 AC classes of trains.
At present only 20 to 30 percent seats have been booked in the buses going from Patna to Delhi. Five AC buses are available for Delhi from Patliputra Bus Terminal, Bairia on Tuesday. Of these, 70 to 80 percent seats were vacant till Monday evening. If we talk about fare, the minimum fare was Rs 1999 and maximum Rs 3599. Of these, the tickets of three buses are flexi tickets, the prices of which can be increased as per the time. Buses operate from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. At present, seats are available for buses going from Patna to Delhi along with buses going to places like Siliguri, Banaras, Chhattisgarh etc.
Let us tell you that about 200 buses are run every day on the interstate route from Patliputra Bus Terminal. Of these, about 100 buses come to Bihar every day and 100 leave from here. At the same time, the number of passengers was seen very less in Bankipur bus stand on Monday. Bus drivers said that the crowd is expected to increase from Tuesday. However, on Monday, buses were available for commuting from almost all the districts of Bihar. Let us tell you that every day about 350 buses leave from Bankipur bus stand for almost all the districts of the state. The last bus leaves at 11:30 pm and the first bus leaves at 3:00 am.
