Preparations for Diwali and Chhath Puja are going on in full swing across the country. People of Bihar living in every corner of the country have started returning to their homes during this great festival. Due to lack of seats in trains, people living outside Bihar are facing a lot of problems. For the convenience of the passengers, the Railways is running hundreds of festive special trains. After this, the East Central Railway gave permission to operate trains like Railway Rajdhani Express and Vande Bharat Express for the passengers. East Central Railway said that for the convenience of passengers during the festive season, Railways is running Vande Bharat Express special train. But to provide relief to the passengers during Diwali and Chhath, Vande Bharat Express is being run by the Railways from Delhi to Patna. Waiting has started in Rajdhani Express also.
As soon as the booking started on the IRCTC website on Tuesday, November 11, there is a waiting list of 121 seats in train number 02250 New Delhi-Patna Rajdhani Festival Special Express, 125 seats in chair car of 02252 New Delhi-Patna Vande Bharat Festival Special Express and 35 seats in executive class. The seats of both these trains coming from Delhi to Patna Junction on 11th November are full. According to experts, as soon as ticket booking started in these trains, the seats got filled in no time. Whereas a day before, Railways had announced to run these two special trains during Chhath. However, in Vande Bharat, 262 seats are vacant on 14th November and 139 seats are vacant in CC car on 16th November.
This train will run from Delhi to Patna
According to the railway schedule, train number 02252 New Delhi Patna Vande Bharat Special train will depart from New Delhi at 7:25 am on 11, 14 and 16 November and reach Patna Junction at 7 pm on the same day. The train will reach Patna from Delhi in 12 hours. There will be 16 coaches in this train. Similarly, train number 02250 New Delhi-Patna-New Delhi Rajdhani Festival Special Express will depart from New Delhi at 19.10 hrs on 10, 13, 15 and 17 November, reaching Kanpur Central at 00.02 hrs, Prayagraj at 2.13 hrs and Pt Deendayal Upadhyay Jn at 05:45 hrs. Stopping at Buxar at 06.35 and Ara at 06.35, it will reach Patna Jn at 7:30.
