In Ganga Sutlej Express starting from Dhanbad station, AC coaches will be reduced and sleeper and general coaches will be increased. Whereas in Ganga Damodar Express, sleeper class will be reduced and general coach will be increased. Notification has been issued for this. The coach will be changed in train number 13307 Ganga Sutlej Express departing from Dhanbad station on 11th August. It will be implemented in train number 13308 Ganga Sutlej Express departing from Firozpur from 13th August. Ganga Sutlej Express is to be run with 22 coaches only. There will be four general coaches instead of three, and six sleeper coaches instead of five. Third AC will be reduced from six to six, Second AC from four to two. There will be one coach of First AC. Apart from this, there will be a generator coach and a pantry car. Whereas train number 13329 Dhanbad-Patna Ganga Damodar Express departing from Dhanbad from 15th August and train number 13330 Patna-Dhanbad Ganga Damodar Express departing from Patna on 16th August will be changed. Train No. 13333 and 13334 Patna-Dumka-Patna Express runs with the coach of Ganga Damodar Express, hence this train will also be changed in coach from 16th August.
There will be changes in Ganga Damodar and Patna-Dumka-Patna.
In Ganga Damodar Express and Patna-Dumka-Patna Express, the number of sleeper coaches will be increased from three to five, sleeper coaches will be reduced from eight to six. Apart from this, there will be no change in AC class coaches. There will be six coaches of Third AC, two of Second AC and one coach of First AC.
