Indian Railways: Many trains canceled due to doubling of railway lines, their routes changed, see full list

Canceled Train: Doubling work will be done on the Barabanki-Ayodhya Cantt-Shahganj-Zaffrabad railway section of Lucknow division of Northern Railway. Due to this, Railways has canceled many trains and changed the routes of some trains. Azamgarh-Delhi via Lucknow Kaifiyat Express will travel via alternate route. CPRO of North Eastern Railway said that due to doubling work, it has been decided to cancel and run many trains on changed routes. These trains will remain canceled from December 15 onwards. In such a situation, for information about trains, railway passengers should travel by getting train information from Rail Madad app or inquiry number 139. Apart from this, train number 15083 Chhapra-Farrukhabad Express running on 15th December, train number 15084 Farrukhabad-Chhapra Express running on 16th December will remain cancelled. Similarly, train number 15053 Chhapra-Lucknow Jn. running on 17th December. Express will remain cancelled.

Trains will not come to these stations

According to Indian Railways officials, train number 12225 Azamgarh-Delhi Kaifiyat Express, scheduled to run from Azamgarh on December 15, will instead run via Shahganj-Jaunpur-Sultanpur-Lucknow-Unnao-Kanpur Central. This train will not come to the mid-way stations of Malipur, Akbarpur, Ayodhya, Rudauli, Barabanki, Badshahnagar, Aishbagh. At the same time, train number 12226 Delhi-Azamgarh Kaifiyat Express running from Delhi on 15th December will run via Kanpur Central-Unnao-Lucknow-Sultanpur-Jaunpur-Shahganj instead of route. This train will not come to Aishbagh, Badshahnagar, Barabanki, Rudauli, Ayodhya, Akbarpur, Malipur stations.

-Train number 15078 Gomtinagar-Kamakhya Express running from Gomtinagar on 18th and 25th December and 1, 8, 15th January will be run from Gorakhpur instead of Gomtinagar.

Train No. 15077 Kamakhya-Gomtinagar Express running from Kamakhya on 19th and 26th December and 2nd, 9th and 16th January will terminate at Gorakhpur instead of Gomtinagar.
