The festive season has arrived, and if you are also planning to go home during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath, then this is useful news for you. Do read it once, because in view of the festivals, Railways is running a special train which will take you to your destination. From the Railways side, train number 04678 between Firozpur Cantt to Patna of Punjab will run every Wednesday between 25th October to 29th November.
This festival special train will start running from Firozpur Cantt at 1:25 pm and will reach its destination Patna at 5 pm the next day. Apart from this, Railways has announced to run special trains from Chandigarh, Jammu and Punjab to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Apart from this, Railways has also announced to run a special train from Jammu Tawi to Barauni. Festival special train 04646 will leave from Jammu Tawi at 5.45 am and will reach Barauni at 12.10 am the next day. Whereas train 04645 will run between Barauni and Jammu Tawi between 20th October and 1st November.
Here, from the Railway side, train numbers (04488 and 04487) will run from Anand Vihar Terminal to Gorakhpur and then back from Gorakhpur to Anand Vihar Terminal. This train will run from Anand Vihar Terminal every Saturday at 11:15 pm from November 4 to November 25. Next day, it will start running from Gorakhpur at 5.25 pm on every Sunday from November 5 to November 26.
At the same time, Indian Railways has also decided to run a festival special train between Bathinda and Varanasi. Train numbers 04530 and 04529 are going to run special trains from Bathinda to Varanasi and from Varanasi to Bathinda. This train will run from 5th November to 29th November. From the Railways side, this train will run from Bathinda Junction every Sunday and Wednesday at 8.55 pm and will reach Varanasi Junction at 5.30 pm the next day.
In return, train number (04529) will run between Varanasi Junction to Bathinda Junction from November 6 to November 30. This train between Varanasi and Bathinda will depart every Monday and Thursday at 8.40 pm and will reach Bathinda Junction at 7.10 pm the next day.
There is another good news for railway passengers. Railways is planning to start Vande Bharat Sleeper Coach and Vande Bharat Metro soon. Railway Board Secretary Milind has given this information. Addressing the railway conference organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry, he said that we are planning Vande Bharat Sleeper and Vande Bharat Metro trains. All this is to meet the expectations regarding work, speed and convenience in the stipulated period.
Shantanu Roy, Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Earth Movers Limited (BEML), said that if everything goes well, we can start the first prototype of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train within this financial year. BEML is partnering with Integral Coach Factory, Chennai and Railway Board to develop the first sleeper Vande Bharat train. (with language input)
