Indian Railways: Keeping in view the facilities for the passengers, Indian Railways is carrying out pre-non-interlock and non-interlock work for yard remodeling at Barabanki station. CPRO Pankaj Kumar Singh said that due to this the Intercity Express running between Gorakhpur and Lucknow has also been cancelled. Apart from this, Gorakhpur-Kochuveli Express will also remain cancelled. 12531 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Jn running from Gorakhpur from 12th December to 15th January. Intercity Express will remain cancelled. Lucknow Jn. 12532 Lucknow Jn-Gorakhpur Intercity Express running from 12th December to 15th January will remain cancelled. 12511 Gorakhpur-Kochuveli running on the diverted route from Gorakhpur on 14, 15 and 17 December and 12512 Kochuveli-Gorakhpur Express running from Kochuveli on 12, 13 and 17 December will remain canceled due to non-interlock work in Warangal.

Whereas 12531 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction running from Gorakhpur from 12th December to 15th January. Intercity Express will remain cancelled. Lucknow Jn. 12532 Lucknow Jn-Gorakhpur Intercity Express running from 12th December to 15th January will remain cancelled. 12511 Gorakhpur-Kochuveli running on the diverted route from Gorakhpur on 14, 15 and 17 December and 12512 Kochuveli-Gorakhpur Express running from Kochuveli on 12, 13 and 17 December will remain canceled due to non-interlock work in Warangal.

15077 Kamakhya-Gomtinagar Express running from Kamakhya on 19th and 26th December and 02nd, 09th and 16th January will terminate its journey at Gorakhpur instead of Gomtinagar.

15078 Gomtinagar-Kamakhya Express running from Gomtinagar on 18th and 25th December and 01, 08th and 15th January will be run from Gorakhpur instead of Gomtinagar.

These trains will be diverted

  • The changed route of 15045 Gorakhpur-Okha Express running from Gorakhpur on 14, 21 and 28 December and 04 and 11 January will be run via Bhatni-Varanasi City-Varanasi-Banaras-Prayagraj Jn.-Kanpur Central.

  • 15046 Okha-Gorakhpur Express running from Okha on 17, 24 and 31 December and 07 and 14 January will be diverted to run via Kanpur Central-Prayagraj Jn.-Banaras-Varanasi-Varanasi City-Bhatni.
