Indian Railways: Announcement of operation of 15 special trains before Diwali-Chhath, know here when will they run

Indian Railways: This year the festival of Dussehra will be celebrated on 24 October, Diwali festival on 12 November and Chhath Puja on 17 November. Due to which there is a crowd of people traveling by trains. Every year on the occasion of Durga Puja, Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath Puja, people from other cities go to their homes. But, he was not getting a confirmed ticket to go home. Due to these problems of passengers, Indian Railways has announced operation of special trains from October 7. With this people will be able to get confirmed berths.

In this, special train 05537/05538 will operate from October 7. This train will run till 10th December. 05537/05538 special train will operate between Darbhanga-Daurai station. But, it will reach Daurai after stopping at Samastipur, Raxaul, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly Cantt, Badaun, Kasganj, Mathura, Jaipur, Ajmer stations. This special train will return from these stations only.

Apart from this, special train 01654 (Shri Vaishnodevi Katra-Varanasi Express) every Sunday from 15 October to 26 November, 01653 (Varanasi-Shri Vaishnodevi Katra Express) every Tuesday from 17 October to 28 November, 04645 (Barauni-Barauni Express) every 20 October. 04518 (Chandigarh-Gorakhpur Express) every Friday from 02 to 30 November, from Chandigarh every Thursday, 04517 (Gorakhpur-Chandigarh Express) from Gorakhpur every Friday from 03 November to 01 December, 04530 (Bhatinda- Banaras Express) every Wednesday from 05 to 29 November, 04529 (Banaras-Bhatinda Express) every Thursday from 06 to 11 November,

04060 (Anand Vihar-Jayanagar Express) every Tuesday and Friday from 07 to 28 November, 04080 (New Delhi-Varanasi Express) every Monday, Thursday and Saturday from New Delhi from 06 to 11 November, 04079 (Varanasi- New Delhi Express ) every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 07 November to 01 December, 04488 (Anand Vihar- Gorakhpur Express) every Saturday from 04 to 25 November, 04487 (Gorakhpur-Anand Vihar Express) every Sunday from 05 to 26 November, 04646 (Jammuthavi-Barauni Express) will operate every Thursday from October 19 to November 30, 04059 (Jai Nagar Anand Vihar Express) will operate every Wednesday and Saturday from November 8 to November 29. Along with this, more special trains are expected to be announced soon.

Additional coaches will be installed in Padmavat and Ayodhya Express

It has been decided to install one sleeper coach each in 14207 Pratapgarh via Bareilly-Delhi and 14208 Delhi via Bareilly-Pratapgarh Padmavat Express and 14205 Ayodhya Cantt via Bareilly Delhi and 14206 Delhi via Bareilly-Ayodhya Cantt Express passing through Bareilly Junction of Northern Railway. . With this, waiting passengers will get confirmed berths.

Railway Board had asked for proposals a week ago

Indian Railways had invited proposals for special trains from all major Grade One category stations. A joint report was sent to the divisional office regarding the stoppage and timing of trains. The board has approved the operation of those major trains. Now the journey will become easier with the running of special trains.
