Meanwhile, Northern Railway has issued a list of more than 300 intercity and express trains, whose operations will be affected due to the G20 summit to be held in Delhi on September 9-10. An official statement has been issued in this regard, which states that in view of the ongoing advisory for security arrangements, these trains have either been canceled between September 8 to 11 or work has been done to change their route or destination. According to the statement, to reduce the inconvenience to passengers, additional stations have been earmarked for stopping of 70 trains including Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, Tejas Rajdhani Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, Varanasi-New Delhi Express.
If we look at the statement, the departure and destination stations of 36 trains have been changed. It has been told that during the G-20 summit, three trains will not stop at Kishanganj railway station in Delhi.
Giving information in this regard, a railway official said that those who have planned to travel during the said period are advised to check the train timings and routes well in advance to avoid any inconvenience. .
