Indian Railway News: Ranchi’s new DRM Jasmeet Singh Bindra contributed on Wednesday. He took over from the outgoing DRM Pradeep Gupta. Jasmeet Singh Bindra Bindra is an officer of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (1996 batch). Prior to this, he was working as the Chief Commercial Manager (PM) of Delhi-based Northern Railway. He has also served as Director in the Ministry of Coal. He was also on the Board of Directors of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and Singrauli Coal Company Limited (SCCL). He has worked in various capacities in the operational and commercial departments of Kharagpur, Adra and Chakradharpur divisions of South Eastern Railway.
Jasmeet Singh Bindra returns to Jharkhand after 14 years
New DRM Jasmeet Singh Bindra said that he has returned to Jharkhand after 14 years. It has changed a lot compared to earlier. Stations are being redeveloped by the Railways in Ranchi and Hatia. With this, the stations will not only be beautiful, but passengers will also get more facilities. He said that efforts will be made to improve the train services from here. Outgoing DRM Pradeep Kumar Gupta has been transferred to the post of Chief Bridge Engineer in South-Central Railway (Hyderabad).
Due to the crowd in Chakradharpur, additional coaches will be installed in three pairs of trains
These days there is heavy rush in all the routes of the railway. Regarding this, South Eastern Railway has decided to provide additional coach facility in 6 express trains. These days there is no room situation in most of the trains going to Mumbai. In view of the huge rush of passengers, the Railways has provided the facility of additional coaches on various dates in the trains going to and from Mumbai.
These trains will get the facility of one AC two-tier coach each.

Stoppage of many trains started in these three stations of Latehar
Stoppage of many express trains was started at three major stations of Latehar district, which include Latehar, Chipadohar and Barwadih railway stations. Ranchi-Banaras Intercity Express reached Latehar station late on Tuesday night. On reaching Latehar station of Ranchi-Banaras Intercity Express, BJP workers welcomed the driver and co-driver with garlands. After this, former MLA Prakash Ram flagged off the train and sent it to its destination. On the occasion, the former MLA said that due to the stoppage of Ranchi-Banaras Intercity Express at Latehar station, all the people would be comfortable. The people of the district will have a lot of convenience in going to big cities like Banaras and Ranchi by this train. He has congratulated MP Sunil Kumar Singh for this. On the occasion, Sushil Aggarwal said that the stoppage of Ranchi-Banaras Intercity Express was stopped at Latehar railway station since the time of Corona period, due to which people were facing a lot of trouble. With the efforts of the MP, the Ministry of Railways took cognizance of this and the stoppage of the train started.
