A major decision has been taken by the NDA alliance on the insult to the Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. NDA MPs are staging a unique protest against the honor of the Vice President and TMC leader Kalyan Banerjee. In honor of Dhankhar, NDA members will stand for an hour in the Rajya Sabha proceedings. NDA leaders say that this is a gross insult to the constitutional position by the opposition. He says that for the first time a leader of Jat community and a farmer’s son has got this constitutional post, which has been insulted by the opposition leaders.

During the proceedings of the House, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said that the opposition has insulted not only the Vice President but also the Constitution of the country. He said that we strongly condemn this. Joshi said that such insult to the OBC community is not appropriate at all. The Parliamentary Affairs Minister said that destroying the dignity of the Constitution has become a habit of the opposition leaders. He said that opposition leaders insulted PM Modi for 20 years. Now the Vice President has been insulted. He said that India will not tolerate the insult of the Vice President.

No intention to hurt anyone – Kalyan Banerjee

Earlier, PM Modi had also spoken to Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar on phone regarding the incident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called the mimicry of Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar done by opposition MPs as unfortunate. Vice President Dhankhar posted on social media X and wrote that PM Modi has called and expressed grief over this disgusting incident. He said that the Prime Minister also said during the conversation that he too has been facing this kind of insult for the last 20 years.
