India China Tension: China is not stopping its activities and is continuously giving some statements regarding the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. India has responded to this action of China. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has responded on social media platform X. He has written that Arunachal Pradesh is an integral part of India. 30 places inside Arunachal Pradesh have been illegally designated by China, which I strongly condemn. Baseless claims have been made from China.
Further, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju wrote that China’s claims are not going to change the ground reality and ‘historical facts’. Arunachal Pradesh is and will remain an integral part of India. By all standards and definitions, the people of Arunachal Pradesh are extremely patriotic and have strong loyalty towards India. Meanwhile, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has also condemned this action of China.

After this, Beijing has released the fourth list of 30 new names of various places in Indian Arunachal Pradesh, which is being strongly condemned in India. China’s official ‘Global Times’ informed that the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs has released the fourth list of standardized geographical names in ‘Jangnan’. Let us tell you that China calls Arunachal Pradesh ‘Jangnan’. The neighboring country claims Arunachal Pradesh as part of South Tibet.

Congress condemned China
Congress has reacted on the matter. Party President Mallikarjun Kharge said that India has been rejecting China’s attempt to change the names of places in Arunachal Pradesh. He wrote on social media platform ‘X’ that when China takes provocative action, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tries to take refuge in false narrative on Katchatheevu. He further wrote that China has a habit of claiming areas of different countries. The people of India condemn these absurd actions of China.
