Kakori Train Action: Lucknow, on August 9, 1925, in Kakori, the freedom movement gained momentum with the money looted from the British treasury. From December 1925 to August 1927, the trial took place in Lucknow’s Roshanuddaula Court, then later in the Ring Theater (GPO). About 10 lakh rupees were spent in this, on December 19, 1927, the main heroes of the Kakori incident were hanged. Revolutionaries had to buy weapons in the war against the British Raj to get freedom for the country, for which a plan was made to loot the British government’s treasury (about 4600 rupees). The General Secretary of the Martyr’s Memorial Organizing Committee told that in order to make the plan successful, on August 7, 1925, the revolutionaries had decided their strategy by meeting in Shahjahanpur.
