Rohit played his 149th T20 match in Mohali. Afghanistan has given the target of 173 runs in 120 balls to the Indian team. Indian team’s star batsman Virat Kohli, who came to play T20 match 55 days after the World Cup, did not do much during the match. Kohli played an innings of 29 runs in 16 balls with the help of five fours. Kohli missed making another big record. Kohli was only six runs away from 12000 in T20. The Indian team is performing amazingly in the series. The Indian team has almost captured the series.

Kohli played an innings of 29 runs in 16 balls with the help of five fours. Kohli missed making another big record. Kohli was only six runs away from 12000 in T20. In the first T20 match, Kohli did not play that match citing personal reasons. Later it was confirmed that January 11 was the birthday of Virat’s beloved daughter.
Akshar Patel scored a double century
In the second T20 match being played with Afghanistan, a slow ball cleverly thrown by Akshar Patel made Gulbadin its victim. Gulbadin went for the shot at the wrong time which resulted in Rohit taking the catch at mid-wicket, ending Gulbadin’s innings of 57 runs in 35 balls, which included 5 fours and 4 sixes. With this Akshar Patel completed his 200th T20 wicket. Axar Patel also became the 11th Indian bowler to complete 200 wickets in T20 cricket.

Indian team captain Rohit Sharma is playing his 150th T20 match today. BCCI gave this information by posting on its Twitter. Rohit played his 149th T20 match in Mohali. Rohit Sharma is at first place in this list. Below them is Ireland’s Paul Stirling in second place, the Irish batting all-rounder has played 134 T20 matches so far. The former India captain is ranked 11th in the list of most T20 matches as he has played 115 T20 Internationals and scored 4008 runs including one century with the highest score of 122 not out which he scored against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022 .
