Bareilly : A fraud of Rs 34.70 lakh has been done in the name of getting the son of a Subedar Major posted in the army area of ​​Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, admitted in B.Tech and the daughter of a junior commissioned officer gets admitted in MBBS. An IAS officer posted in the Human Resources Ministry and three army officers posted in Pathankot military area are accused of committing this fraud. The aggrieved army officers complained to SSC on Monday. After this, on the instructions of the SSP, the Cantt police station has registered an FIR against the accused. Investigation into the matter has been started.

Army officer posted in Bareilly becomes victim of fraud

Subedar Major Vikram Dutt Tyagi, posted at GE East located in the Cantt area of ​​Bareilly, told the police that his son Aryan is preparing for B.Tech. He had a conversation with Major Sohan Prasad Bhatt posted at CWE Mamun in Pathankot military area regarding his son’s admission in B.Tech. In this regard, the Major asked to meet Subedar Sandeep Singh posted in his office. Major had said that Sandeep has a lot of acquaintances in the ministry. He will get the admission of his son done. After this, Subedar Major Vikram talked to Subedar Sandeep Singh regarding the admission. On this, Sandeep told that Rishi is the PA of IAS Harsh Kumar Goyal, Director of Education in the Ministry of Human Resources. He does admission work. It is alleged that after this the PA of Major, Subedar Major and IAS officer demanded Rs 14.25 lakh from Vikram to get admission in the government college. Vikram gave this amount. When admission was not done even after paying the money, Vikram complained to the police.

Fake letter sent from Bardhaman Mahavir Medical College

Like Subedar Major Vikram Dutt Tyagi, Ompal Singh, a resident of Kandharpur of Bareilly Cantt police station area Lal Fatak, has been cheated. He is also a junior commission officer in the army. Rs 20.45 lakh was taken from Ompal in the name of getting his daughter’s MBBS admission in a government medical college. This money was also taken through Major Sohan Prasad Bhatt, PA of IAS Harsh Kumar Goyal, Director of Education in the Ministry of Human Resources, Rishi and Subedar Sandeep. Ompal told that the accused had prepared a fake letter from Delhi’s Bardhaman Mahavir Medical College and sent it home for admission in the name of their daughter. When I inquired about it in the college, it came to light that the letter was fake. After this I realized that I had been cheated.

The accused were called. But, after picking up the phone he refused to give the money. After this he is not even picking up the phone. Both the army officers complained about the matter to the SSP. On the instructions of the SSP, the Cantt police station has registered a report and started taking action. For this the police will go to Pathankot.
