Let us tell you that the ED had conducted a survey in the registry office on April 21 using the powers vested in Section-16 of the PMLA. The purpose of the survey was to seize documents related to the purchase and sale of army land and the purchase and sale of land located on Cheshire Home Road. By forging the documents, the land occupied by the army was sold to Jagat Bandhu Tea State. Jagat Bandhu Tea Estate is related to Kolkata businessman Amit Agarwal, accused of money laundering. The land of Cheshire Home Road has also been bought by businessman Vishnu Aggarwal by forgery in the documents. Forensic investigation has confirmed forgery in the document. The report also mentions the termites licking documents kept in the Kolkata Registry Office in a strange way. It has been found in the investigation that the termites did not lick only those pages, which were forged and added later. Termites have licked the top and bottom of these pages.
