In such a situation, the administration should deploy the police at the Ganges ghats so that any untoward incident can be stopped before it happens. Anyway, from Bhadra Ghat to Kangan Ghat of Patna City, many people have died due to drowning while bathing in Ganga, yet the district administration is sitting quietly and waiting for some big incident.

The Chief Minister reached JP Setu via Atal Path and took stock of the rising water level of river Ganga. During the tour, the Chief Minister had seen and inquired about the condition of the areas around the river Ganga.
