A sadhu living in the garden of Narsingh Baba Math complex in Motihari city of Bihar beat a young man to death with a stick. Rahul Kumar (30) was the son of late Gagandev Mahato, resident of Kalyanpur of Kotwa police station. He got married last year. The incident is said to have happened on Friday.

On receiving the information, the city police arrived and controlled the accused sadhu with much effort. After that she brought him to the police station. The arrested Sadhu Prabhakar Pandey alias Bulbul is originally a resident of Areraj Jitwarpur. For many years, Narsingh Baba was living in a house built in the garden of the Math complex.
Beat the young man to death
According to eyewitnesses, some boys had gone towards the garden in the afternoon. During this time he had an argument with the monk regarding some matter. The sadhu went inside the room threateningly, by then the boys ran away. Without knowing or asking anything, the sadhu started beating Rahul with his stick. He beat Rahul until he died. After that he went inside the house and locked the room from inside. The police, who reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, broke the window and entered the room and took the Sadhu into their custody. Inspector Rakesh Kumar Bhaskar said that the Sadhu is being interrogated. An FIR will be registered on receipt of the application. At present the exact reasons for the incident have not been known.

Prabhakar Pandey alias Bulbul is a fugitive from the army. People also know him by the name of Uniformed Baba. It is said that he had run away from the army 20-22 years ago. His relationship with his wife is also bad. She lives with her mother-in-law in Jitwarpur. The mental condition of the monk is also not good.
