In Kaimur, health workers protested by tying black bands, demanded removal of new pension policy

Opposition to the new pension scheme of the central government has also started in Kaimur district of Bihar. Health workers protested against the new pension scheme in the district on Friday. Slogans were raised against the pension scheme. On Friday, all the health workers of Sadar Hospital protested by putting black badges on their respective arms.

On Friday, health workers working in Sadar Hospital were seen working by wearing black badge or black badge on their arm. Health workers working in Sadar Hospital’s Emergency Room, Women’s Ward, Men’s Ward, Delivery Center, ICU, SNCU, Medicine Distribution Center, OPD and other departments performed their work silently by wearing black badges in protest.

Dr. Ravi Ranjan Prakash, posted at Sadar Hospital, told that the new pension scheme of the Central Government will cause a lot of loss to the health workers and when the health workers retire, they will get very less money. They will get so little money that the health workers will not even be able to run their families. The new pension scheme will prove wrong for us. That’s why we are protesting against this and as a protest, all the health workers are working in different departments by wearing black badges in protest. He said that all the PHCs of the district including the workers of Sadar Hospital are involved in this protest.

Dr. Ravi Ranjan Prakash said that the government should implement the old pension scheme without delay, because it is beneficial for all of us workers and we will not accept the new pension scheme in any form. Dr. Sitesh Kumar, Dr. Khalid Raza, Dr. Fateh Bahadur, Pushpendra Kumar, Jyoti Kumari, Shyam Kumar, Ramchandra, Juhi Kumari, Anita Kanojia and other health workers were present during the protest outside Sadar Hospital on Friday.
