Gorakhpur : A video of beating of junior engineer from Gorakhpur railway station has surfaced on social media. In which you can see the Junior Engineer is sitting on the platform’s bench. Four-five TTEs and vendors are standing around him. Meanwhile, a TTE grabs the collar and slaps the junior engineer three times one after the other. The case pertains to platform number 8 of the railway station on the evening of 6 April. Not only this, TTE also gives dirty abuses. During this, the junior engineer is pleading to leave, but no one helps him. Our engineer has demanded justice by posting a video on social media on Monday. In fact, Ansar Ali is posted in the Basti district on the post of Junior Engineer in the Housing Development Corporation. He lives in Lohamandi, Agra. Ansar Ali told, I had come to Gorakhpur for work on 6th April. From there I had to go to Lucknow. That’s why in the evening went to AC coach of Kushinagar Express with general ticket. There I met TTE Mazhar Hussain. I asked him to make a ticket.

Ansar Ali told, TTE’s age was less than me, so I told him you. TTE got angry on this matter. He pushed me in anger. While defending myself, he got pushed by my hand. Due to which the TTE fell face down on the rod of the seat. His lip was bitten by his teeth. When the matter escalated, I got off the train. Many TTEs assaulted me as soon as I got down on the platform. After this TTE lodged an FIR against me in GRP. The police took me into custody and took me with them. Ansar Ali said, I had also complained about the matter, but no hearing took place. Inspector Vijay Pratap Singh of GRP station told that TTE Mazhar Hussain had complained against Ansar Ali. Ansar Ali was sitting in the AC coach with a general ticket. The traveler had an argument with him. After this, Ansar Ali became bent on fighting. After which action was taken by taking him into custody. A case has been registered against accused Ansar Ali under sections 332, 353, 504 of IPC.
