In this regard, SSP Ashish Bharti said that the arrested youth has been identified as Dharmendra Kumar, resident of Shahbazpur village of Shakurabad police station area of ​​Jehanabad district. A case has been registered against this in Rampur police station on the statement of Nilesh Kumar, Senior Manager of HR Department of Zonal Office of Bank of India.

The young man was called to the bank to check the documents.

Nilesh Kumar has stated in his FIR that earlier an examination was conducted for reinstatement to the post of officer in Bank of India. After passing the examination, candidate Dharmendra Kumar was called to the zonal office of Bank of India located in AP Colony on Tuesday for verification of documents related to joining.

Scholar gave exam in return

After reaching the bank, the youth’s documents were verified. Along with this, the fingerprints given during the examination were also matched. But, when the fingerprints of Dharmendra Kumar could not be matched, Nilesh Kumar became suspicious of the young man and interrogated him. During interrogation, the youth admitted that he had an examination in the first shift on March 19. But, he himself did not appear in the examination. A scholar took the exam in his place. After this, the bank officials called the police of Rampur police station and arrested Dharmendra Kumar, who had fraudulently joined the job in the Bank of India in the name of an officer.

Mobile phones and other documents were seized

SSP said that a mobile phone and admit card and other documents have been recovered from the arrested Dharmendra Kumar. Instructions have been given to Rampur Police Station Head Ravi Kumar and Inspector Rajesh Kumar to extract the call details of the seized mobile phones, so that the concerned youths involved in this gang can be identified and arrested.

The scholar taking the exam is a resident of Patna.
