Compulsion to not wear helmet
After the challan was sent, people of the Sikh community complained about many such cases in the cell and cited the compulsion of not wearing helmets.
Difficulty wearing helmet
The Sikh community wears a turban, due to which they face difficulty in wearing a helmet. But still the challan was issued for not having a helmet.

Traffic SP Puran Kumar Jha said that people of Sikh community will not have to pay the amount of challan for helmet. The challan of these people will be waived off. No penalty amount will be taken from them.
Complaint sent to authorities
Traffic SP said that after receiving the complaint of challan being issued to turban wearers, the Grievance Cell has sent it to the concerned authorities to rectify the problems.
