In Bihar, 95.5 percent people do not have any vehicle, only 0.44 percent have four wheelers.

Shocking revelation regarding vehicles in Bihar

According to the report, 14 percent of the state’s population lives in huts. Less than one percent people have post graduate degree. The most shocking revelation in the report is regarding motor vehicles. According to which 95.49 percent people in the state still do not have any kind of vehicle. That means there are 12 crore 48 lakh people in the state who do not have any vehicle. Such people depend on public transport to go anywhere.

According to the report, the number of four-wheeler owners in the state is 0.44 percent of the total population, which is 5,72,146. Two-wheelers are owned by 3.80 percent people, whose number is 49,62,000. Talking about three-wheelers, 0.11 percent people have them i.e. 1,42,689. Only 0.03 percent people have vehicles with six or more wheels, the number of such people is 40,336. If we talk about those who own tractors, their number is 1,67,062, which is 0.13 percent. There are 95.49 percent people who do not have any vehicle.

One of the reasons why people do not have a car is poverty in the state. According to the report, the income of 34.13 percent families in the state is less than six thousand rupees per month. Their number is 94,42,766. Whereas the monthly income of 29.61 percent families is between six thousand to ten thousand rupees. There are only 18.06 percent families with monthly income between Rs 10 thousand to Rs 20 thousand. Whereas the number of families with monthly income more than fifty thousand rupees is 03.09 percent.
