Bhagalpur. Three youths who were riding without helmets have died in Navgachia, Bihar. Three friends are said to be there. The three friends riding a bike had come to Makanpur Chowk in Navgachia for the birthday party of another friend, from where while returning, all three became victims of an accident when they were hit by an unknown vehicle. The incident took place on Sunday morning near Baba Vishu Raut bridge in Navgachia. According to police sources, the deceased have been identified as 23-year-old Prince Kumar of Raghunathpur in Saharsa district, 20-year-old Sukesh Kumar, resident of Pratapnagar in Kadwa police station area of ​​Navgachia and 22-year-old Suraj Kumar alias Rahul of Ismailpur police station area.

The three youths were identified

The team of Navgachia police station had gone out for patrolling on Baba Vishu Raut bridge at 5 in the morning when they noticed the crowd on the road. On going closer it was found that three youths had died in a road accident. Senior officials were immediately informed about this and the body was brought to the sub-divisional hospital for identification and post-mortem. When the bodies of the deceased youth were examined, mobile phones were found from all three, on the basis of which the family members of one youth were informed about the accident.

Identification through social media

The photos of the deceased were made viral on social media, after which all the youths were identified. Ranjit Kumar, family member of the deceased, said that Suraj Kumar alias Rahul is my nephew, Suraj was studying in Katihar Navodaya School, he had taken leave due to illness and had come home to rest. He had left the house at night saying that he was going to a friend’s birthday party. We did not know where he was going after the birthday party. The news of his death was received in the morning; when they reached the hospital, all three youths were dead.

Accident happened while returning

Dharmendra Kumar Mandal, family member of the deceased, said that my brother-in-law’s cousin Prince has died in a road accident. Prince used to work as a lab technician in the pathology of Kadwa. He had come to a birthday party and was returning from there, the incident is said to have happened at 4 o’clock. Prince had two brothers and one sister and he was the eldest. Prince was married only 6 years ago and has a 3 year old son. Police have sent the bodies of the deceased for post-mortem and have started investigation into the entire incident.
