Bareilly News: On Saturday, BJP workers burnt the effigy of Congress Rajya Sabha member (MP) Dheeraj Sahu at Kachari intersection in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He accused Congress of looting the country after independence. Along with this, he was accused of misuse of funds. Income tax raid is going on at the residences of Congress’s Rajya Sabha member from Chhattisgarh and industrialist Dheeraj Sahu. In this, cash worth Rs 200 crore has been recovered till Friday evening, due to which senior leaders including former Union Minister and BJP MP from Bareilly Lok Sabha seat Santosh Gangwar, Mayor Dr. Umesh Gautam, MLA Dr. DC Verma and MLA Sanjeev Aggarwal are present at the court square. BJP members in Bareilly alleged that Congress leaders are active in similar activities even after 70 years of independence. He said that we also want to draw attention to how the country’s money is being misused. He accused Congress of looting the country’s wealth.
BJP leaders said that now the people of the country will have to account for every single rupee. He said that such people are being searched. Soon raids will be conducted against many more people also.
