The effect of Cyclonic Storm Michong, which arose from the Bay of Bengal, is visible in Dhanbad. The morning started with drizzle on Tuesday. It remained cloudy throughout the day. At five o’clock in the evening, light drizzle started again, which continued intermittently till late night. Drizzle and blowing wind made people feel cold. Due to changed weather, a drop in temperature was recorded. The maximum temperature dropped by two degrees to 26 degrees. The minimum temperature is around 18 degrees.
Chances of rain on 6th and 7th
According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain in the district on 6th and 7th December. There may be light rain on 6th while normal rain may occur on 7th. During this period the maximum temperature may drop by two to three degrees. This will increase the feeling of cold during the day. There is also a possibility of strong wind. The clouds will start clearing from December 8th. After this the temperature will drop and cold will increase.
