Giridih. Nemiaghat police station has raided near GT Road Rangamati overbridge and seized a magic vehicle loaded with illegal coal. Also, driver Laxman Baski and assistant driver Ajay Gop have been arrested and sent to jail. In this regard, SP Deepak Kumar Sharma said that on the basis of secret information, on Saturday night, Nemiaghat police station was instructed to conduct vehicle checking campaign to prevent illegal transportation of coal. This action took place during the night.
Action taken under the leadership of SDPO Dumri:
SP Shri Sharma said that a magic vehicle (JH-10CS-5229) loaded with coal was caught at Rangamati overbridge (NH-19) on GT Road with the help of Nemiaghat police station under the leadership of SDPO Dumri Sumit Prasad. Raw coal was being smuggled in the said magic vehicle without any documents. Further action is being taken by registering an FIR against the driver, co-driver, owner and the person involved in illegal coal business. Among the arrested accused, driver Laxman Baski Ledodih, police station Rajganj, district Dhanbad and co-driver Ajay Gop Ledodih, police station Rajganj, district Dhanbad have been arrested and sent to jail. The raiding team included Nemiaghat police station in-charge Pt. Rana Jang Bahadur Singh, Pt. Praneet Patel and police force personnel.
