  • For admission in IGNOU January session, you will first have to go to the official website ignou.ac.in.

  • On the home page of the website, you will have to click on the link Fresh Admission for all programs offered in ODL/Online mode for the January 2024 session.

  • Now on the new page, click on the link in which program (ODL/Distance Programs or (Online Programs) you want to take admission.

  • After this you have to register by clicking on the Click Here to New Registration link.

  • After registration, candidates should fill the form after entering other information.

  • Finally, candidates should deposit the prescribed application fee for the course and take a printout of the completely filled application form and keep it safe for future use.

In the notice issued by IGNOU, it has been said that the application fee will be a non-refundable fee which will be deposited during admission for the first semester/year. After the admission is confirmed, the full fee of the concerned program will have to be deposited. However, full fee can be refunded before admission confirmation. A fee of Rs 500 will be deducted up to 15 days after seat confirmation and Rs 1000 will be deducted for refund between 16 to 90 days.
