Gamharia (Seraikela Kharsawan): IG Akhilesh Jha reached Gamharia on Tuesday to investigate the case of taking hostage of Singhbhum MP cum BJP candidate Geeta Koda and her workers by villagers on Sunday in Mohanpur under Gamharia police station of Seraikela Kharsawan district of Jharkhand. During this, he inspected the incident site and took information about the entire matter.

IG Akhilesh Jha reached Gamharia on Tuesday to investigate the case of misbehavior with MP Geeta Koda. On the day of the incident, he went to the spot along with the soldiers included in the convoy. Along with this, he took information related to the incident from the villagers and became aware of the situation.

Earlier, IG Akhilesh Jha stopped the convoy of MP Geeta Koda and also went to Sridharpur and Murgaghutu Tilka Chowk, where he took information related to the incident. After inspecting the spot, they reached Gamharia police station.
FIR has been lodged from both sides
IG Akhilesh Jha said that FIR has been registered from both sides in this matter. The entire matter is under investigation.

Let us tell you that Singhbhum MP Geeta Koda had said on Monday that the misbehavior with her was sponsored by JMM. They oppose this. There is no place for violence in democracy. The people who were opposing him were not the people of that village. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha had already prepared an army to protest. The dictatorial attitude of JMM will not be tolerated.
