IBPS conducts the examination process to select eligible candidates for 1402 Specialist Officer posts in various departments and the selection is mainly done on the basis of Prelims, Mains and Interview stages. IBPS SO Prelims Result has been released and candidates are now waiting for the cut-off marks which is going to be released soon. Now that the IBPS Specialist Officer preliminary exam result has been released, the selected candidates will be eligible to appear for the main examination. The main examination is scheduled to be held on 28 January 2024. Those who qualify the main examination will appear for interview/personality test. The combined marks of Mains and Interview will decide the appointment status of the candidates. Marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be added to the final merit list, therefore, the preliminary examination stage is qualifying in nature.
