Hyundai’s sales got a boost from Creta and Venue, so many cars sold

Hyundai Car Sales: Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL)’s total sales increased by 16.26 percent to 59,601 units in May. The company had sold 51,263 vehicles in the same month last year.

The company has said that its sales in the domestic market increased by 14.91 percent to reach 48,601 units, which was 42,293 units in May 2022. The company’s exports grew by 22.63 per cent to 11,000 units in May as against 8,970 units in the same month a year ago.

HMIL’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Tarun Garg said that the company’s sales growth in May has been in double digits. The main contribution in this was the SUV Creta and Venue. The recently launched Verna sedan has also received a good response, he said.
