Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has updated on how the weather of Jharkhand will be on Republic Day. Ranchi-based weather center of IMD said that the minimum temperature will drop by two to four degrees in the next two days. Especially in southern and adjacent central Jharkhand. After this, there is no sign of any major change in the temperature for three days. This means that people in Jharkhand will not get respite from the cold wave for the next three days. The Meteorological Department has also said that there will be fog in the state from January 25 to January 28. Especially in the morning. After this the sky will clear during the day. The weather is expected to be dry. The meteorologist said that there was light rain at isolated places in the southern part of Jharkhand i.e. Chaibasa, Jamshedpur, Simdega and Seraikela and some adjoining districts. Due to this the cold has increased in the state.

Meteorological Center chief Abhishek Anand said that there is cyclonic circulation in the northwestern part of Uttar Pradesh and the adjoining areas. At the same time, along with Karnataka and Odisha, cyclone is also formed in Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh. Due to this effect, fog has persisted at many places in Jharkhand. In Jharkhand, the maximum rainfall of 3 mm occurred in Kumardungi in West Singhbhum. Whereas, the highest temperature was recorded in Jamshedpur of East Singhbhum district. The maximum temperature here was 23.9 degrees centigrade. Temperature: The minimum temperature of Babanagari Deoghar was recorded at 6.1 degrees Celsius, which was the lowest in the state.

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, not much change was seen in the maximum temperature. A drop in temperature ranging from 2.1 degree to 4 degree centigrade was recorded. The maximum temperature was 1.6 degrees to 3 degrees centigrade below normal. At some places the maximum temperature was recorded as low as 3.1 degrees to 5 degrees Celsius. At many places in the state, the minimum temperature increased by 4.1 degrees centigrade during the last 24 hours. Despite this, the minimum temperature remained low by 3.1 degree to 5 degree centigrade. At some places it was 1.6 degrees to 3 degrees Celsius more than normal.
