Uttar Pradesh ‘Jhatpat Bijli Connection Yojana’ has been started. Now within 10 days of applying online sitting at home, electricity connection will be installed in the beneficiary’s house.
Under this scheme, electricity connection will be provided to BPL category families through a fee amount of Rs.10.
On the other hand, APL category families will have to pay Rs 100 for getting electricity connection for supply of 1 to 49 KW.
To apply online for instant electricity connection scheme, Aadhaar card, PAN card, residence certificate, BPL and APL category ration card, applicant’s voter ID card, mobile number and passport size photo will be required as documents.
To apply online for instant electricity connection scheme, first of all the applicant has to visit its official website upenergy.in.
Here a section of Consumer Corner will appear on the home page. In this section, under Connection Services, click on the option of Apply For New Electricity Connection (Jhatpat Connection).
On clicking, the login and registration page will open on your screen. Here you have to click on For New Registration.
Now enter the captcha code below. Then you have to click on the option of Register / Register. Now your registration process will be completed.
Now the registration form will open in front of you on a new page. Fill all the information asked here.
After this, electricity connection will be installed at your home within 10 days after the confirmation of the application form.
