Cyber Security: Less than five percent of companies in India are prepared for cyber security risks. This conclusion has been drawn in a study. It said that a large number of these companies, however, have accepted that such risks may impact their business in the next 12-24 months.
According to the 2024 Cisco Cybersecurity Readiness Index report, only four percent of companies in India are ready to deal with today’s threats, while 59 percent of organizations are in the early or early stages of preparedness. It said that only three percent of companies globally are prepared to deal with cyber security risks.

8,136 private sector companies have been included in this study, of which 1,000 companies are from India. The study revealed that 82 percent of the companies surveyed expect that cybersecurity issues will disrupt their business in the next 12-24 months.
