There are chances of rain in the state till October 9. There may be heavy rain on October 4. There is a possibility of rain with thunderstorms on October 5 also. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm during this period. A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department regarding this. On October 9, there may be rain and thundershowers at isolated places in the north-eastern parts. Here, due to continuous rains in Bandgaon area of West Singhbhum district, Hirni Fall is in spate. Water is flowing from four meters above. Due to security reasons, no one is being allowed to go towards Hirni Falls. The deployed security personnel are constantly keeping an eye. Yellow alert regarding rain and thunderstorm
The Meteorological Department has said in its forecast that there is a possibility of rain and thunder in some parts of Sahibganj, Godda, Garhwa, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Simdega districts of Jharkhand on Tuesday. Hirni Fall in spate due to heavy rain
Due to continuous rains in Bandgaon area of West Singhbhum district, Hirni Fall is in spate. Water is flowing from four meters above. Due to security reasons, no one is being allowed to go towards Hirni Falls. The deployed security personnel are constantly keeping an eye. Let us tell you that it has been raining heavily in the area since late Sunday evening. The water of Hirni Fall is falling directly into the river. However, no damage has been caused so far. People living in settlements near the river have been alerted. If water continues to fall in Suban Sai, Mandal Tola, Nayak Tola, Kalandi Tola, Sahu Tola and other riverside villages near the river, there is a possibility of river water entering houses and causing damage to life and property.
Torrential rain in Bandgaon area
On Monday night, a huge tamarind tree had fallen in Kalindi Tola due to the strong flow of the river. There was no loss of life or property due to falling of trees at night, but there is fear among the villagers. It is raining heavily in Bandgaon block. People are busy trying to protect themselves from this rain.
