Samastipur. A horrific road accident took place on NH-322 near Udapatti village of Musrigharari police station area of the district. Two youths died in this road accident, while three people were seriously injured. All the youths are being told. These people were returning from the procession riding on the car. Meanwhile, the speeding car collided with a tree on the roadside.
Identification of both the youths who died
Kamlesh Kumar, 25-year-old son of Shatrughan Thakur, resident of Korbaddha village under Mufassil police station area, and Ramakant Kumar, 26-year-old son of Dorik Sahni, resident of Bejhadih, Mufassil police station area have died in this accident. It is being told that a procession had gone from Samastipur to Patori on Sunday. After joining the procession, all the people were returning back to Samastipur. Meanwhile, the driver lost control of the car and the car hit a tree.
Police engaged in investigation
Two people died on the spot in the accident, while three people in the car were seriously injured. The villagers who reached the spot took the injured out of the car and informed the police about the incident. After which the police admitted all the injured to the hospital for treatment, while the dead bodies of both the youths who died in the accident have been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Police said that the matter is being investigated. On the question of whether the car driver was drunk or not, the police said that something can be said only after investigation.
