Araria. Four people, including a former head representative, died in a tractor accident during idol immersion in ward number three of Diyari Panchayat of Araria block. Half a dozen people were injured in this incident. The condition of one of the injured is critical. The incident happened late Thursday evening. Four people died on the spot
It is said that the construction company had installed barricades on both sides of the road under construction, so that big vehicles could not enter. Meanwhile, the tractor passed the barricade, but the tractor’s axle collided with the barricade. After this, the people standing on the tractor’s axle fell on the ground. Former chief representative Amit Mandal, son of Narayan Mandal, died at the spot. Apart from this, the deceased include Manesh Lal Mandal, son of Janaklal Mandal, Munna Kumar, son of Bharat Lal Mandal and Sadanand Mandal, son of Sakhichan Mandal.
Treatment of injured is going on in private hospital
The condition of Mantu Mandal, son of Sitaram Mandal, cousin of the former chief representative, is critical. He has been referred for better treatment. Half a dozen people are undergoing treatment in a private hospital. On receiving information about the incident, civil surgeon, SDO Navneel Kumar, SDPO Rampukar Singh, city police station incharge and police officers reached Sadar Hospital. After the incident, there was chaos in Sadar Hospital late in the evening. The injured are being given proper treatment. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
