Honda will present a new motorcycle on August 2, will compete with Bajaj Pulsar

New Delhi : Honda Two Wheelers, the second largest two-wheeler manufacturer after India Hero MotoCorp, has designed a new motorcycle. This new motorcycle prepared by the company will be a model in the 160-180 cc segment and will challenge the Bajaj Pulsar model. According to media reports, the new motorcycle of Honda Two Wheelers is all set to be introduced in the Indian bike market on August 2, 2023. The Japanese two-wheeler brand has already informed about the launch of the motorcycle through a social media post.

The upcoming Honda motorcycle, which will be launched in the Indian bike market on August 2, features a massive muscular fuel tank and fuel tank extensions, which adds to the sporty look of the model. The LED taillight ensures that the bike will come with a premium feel. It is also expected to get a sharp looking LED headlamp in line with many other Honda motorcycles in the same segment. Media reports have said that the turn indicators in this new motorcycle will be fitted with conventional bulbs. The motorcycle is expected to come with a split seat setup, which will enhance its looks.

Media reports say that the new motorcycle is expected to be based on the Honda Unicorn, one of the successful products from the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer. The engine powering the motorcycle will be the same as the Honda Unicorn. However, the 162 cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor will be tuned differently. It is expected to generate slightly more power and torque than the Unicorn. When launched, the new Honda motorcycle will challenge the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Yamaha FZ-Fi and the TVS Apache RTR 160.

The 160cc segment in the Indian market is dominated by the Honda Unicorn, while the automaker also introduced the XBlade, but it never set the sales charts on fire. Keeping this in mind the 160cc has become one of the most sought after segment for the consumers. The upcoming model from the company looks like a legitimate attempt from the company to make a dent in this category.
