The Shine 100 is a basic commuter motorcycle. Its design has been taken from its elder brother Shine 125 and it is offered in five colours.
The new Honda Shine 100 is powered by a 98.98 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine that produces 7.28 Bhp and 8.05 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 4-speed gearbox.
The Shine 100 offers a good initial pick-up and this new engine is very refined. While its mileage figures are yet to be revealed, Honda claims that the Shine 100 will deliver class-leading fuel efficiency.
In terms of features, it gets a basic analogue instrument cluster that displays read-outs for speedometer, odometer, trip meter, fuel gauge and tail-tail lights.
The Shine 100 gets telescopic front forks and dual spring-loaded shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are performed by drum brakes at either end with CBS as standard.
