Honda has built its new scooter on the underbone frame, which includes semi-digital instrument cluster, LED headlight, indicator-mounted front apron, flat-type seat, silver grab rail, under-seat storage compartment, front alloy wheel 12-inch And the rear alloy wheels have been given 10-inch. The scooter weighs 111 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.3 litres.
The engine of the new Honda Activa scooter is of BS-6 Phase-2 standard. This 124 cc air-cooled engine produces maximum power of 8.18 hp at 6500 rpm and peak torque of 10.3 Nm at 5000 rpm. It is mated to a CVT gearbox for easy transmission.
The top speed of the New Honda Activa 125 is 85 km/h and the scooter is capable of delivering a mileage of 50-60 km/l. The company has launched it at an ex-showroom price of Rs 78,920 and its top model at Rs 88,093. The delivery of this scooter will start soon. Honda’s new Activa 125 will have to compete with scooters like TVS Jupiter 125, Hero Destini, Suzuki Access 125 and Yamaha Fascino 125.
Atsushi Ogata, Managing Director, President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HMSI, said that the 2023 Activa 125 meets the new emission standards going to be implemented from April. This scooter has been launched with an engine meeting strict emission standards. With this new model, we have ensured that our customers get a better experience while meeting the new standards.
