Holi started with offering gulal on Baba Bholenath in Devnagari Deoghar on Sunday. Today is the second day of Holi. Holi is played here for three days. According to tradition, after the Baba temple was emptied and cleaned, the doors of the temple were closed. After that the door of the temple was opened again. After the doors were opened, priest Ajay Jha went to the sanctum sanctorum. Removed the flowers and leaves offered to Baba and cleaned them with a muslin cloth. After this, after filling gulal in a muslin cloth, with the same cloth, first offered gulal on the idol of Maa Gaura and then on Baba’s Shivalinga. With this Holi started on Sunday. After that a crowd of townspeople gathered and entered the sanctum sanctorum and played Holi by offering gulal on Baba.
