The world’s highest motorable road is being built near the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh, which will be a testing road for car manufacturers and one of the major tourist destinations.
This road is being constructed by the Border Roads Organisation. However, since June 2020, both these countries are being chewed by the soldiers of the Indian Army.
The new road of the Border Roads Organization will be built barely three kilometers from the adjacent Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China, which will provide connectivity with Fukhe.
The Border Roads Organization has announced that the organization has started the construction of this new road. Which will be part of India’s strategic road network on the sensitive border area
The area has an updated landing pad for the armed forces. This road will provide major road connectivity with the Ladakh Valley and the rest of India.
The Border Roads Organization (BRO) has completed black topping and construction work on the world’s highest motorable road in the Umling La Pass area of Eastern Ladakh, located at an altitude of 19,300 feet.
It is a mountain range located in the central part of the Ladakh region of India. Its northern end reaches the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).
