Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court, while hearing the PIL filed regarding irregularities in the appointments in Jharkhand Assembly, expressed strong displeasure over the report of Justice Vikramaditya Prasad Commission not being presented till now. While hearing the case, the division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra and Justice Anand Sen orally said that even after giving orders thrice, the Jharkhand Assembly Secretary has not yet submitted the report of the one-member commission of Justice Vikramaditya Prasad. Expressing displeasure, the division bench directed the Assembly Secretary to submit the report within seven days. Said that if the report of Justice Vikramaditya Prasad is not presented in the court by the Assembly Secretary, then criminal contempt action will be initiated against him. The division bench fixed October 12 for the next hearing of the case. Earlier, Additional Advocate General Jai Prakash and Advocate Anil Kumar, while presenting their side, said that the Cabinet Secretariat has sent the report of Justice Vikramaditya Prasad Commission to the Commission headed by Justice SJ Mukhopadhyay. Therefore, the report of Justice Vikramaditya Prasad has been sought from the Cabinet Secretariat. The said report of the commission has not been received yet.
