Hero MotoCorp bringing Karizma XMR 210, will be launched on August 29

New Delhi : Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch its next big product Karizma XMR 210 in India on 29th August. This will mark the return of the Hero Karizma brand, which was one of the most successful products of the domestic two-wheeler giant. The company has been teasing the Karizma on its social media channels for the past few weeks, giving us an idea of ​​the design of the motorcycle.

Hero Karizma XMR 210 will compete with motorcycles like Suzuki Gixxer SF 250, Yamaha R15 and Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 when launched in the Indian bike market. With this new motorcycle, Hero MotoCorp aims to increase its market share in the emerging premium motorcycle segment.

India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer has already indicated that the price of Hero Karizma XMR 210 is expected to be between Rs 1.90 lakh to Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hero Karizma XMR 210 Design

The upcoming Hero Karizma XMR 210 will come with an aggressive and sporty design. The upcoming motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp will feature styling that will be inspired by the iconic design of the original Karizma. For this, the motorcycle caught everyone’s attention. Going by the images and spyshots released in the teaser, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 is expected to follow the same footsteps as the base model. The upcoming motorcycle features sharp lines and creases all over the bodywork. There will be full LED headlamp, LED taillight and split-seat setup to enhance freshness. Apart from full-LED lighting, the Hero Karizma XMR 210 is expected to come with a color LCD screen with Bluetooth connectivity. The motorcycle is expected to get bright yellow and red color options.

Engine and Transmission

Hero Karizma XMR 210 will be powered by an all new engine. This 210 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine is expected to produce 25 Bhp of peak power and 20 Nm of peak torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a six-speed gearbox.

Suspension & Brakes

On the hardware front, the new Hero Karizma XMR 210 will feature telescopic front forks at the front and preloaded adjustable monoshock absorbers at the rear. For braking duties, it will get disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Dual-channel ABS is expected to be standard on the motorcycle.

Hero MotoCorp has been testing this motorcycle for quite some time now and it has caught the attention of buyers. It has roped in Bollywood superstar Ritwik Roshan as the brand ambassador for the upcoming model. The latest teaser of the two-wheeler brand Karizma has revealed some details about the upcoming premium motorcycle.

Hero discontinued Karizma in 2020

Hero MotoCorp has tasted success in the Indian two-wheeler market with a few models and one of them is the Karizma. Launched as a premium motorcycle during Hero MotoCorp’s collaboration with Honda, the sporty model Karizma became popular in no time. The two-wheeler giant discontinued the Karizma in February 2020 after its sales fell to zero.
