Hemant Soren withdrew the petition from the Supreme Court

Ranchi: Big news is coming out in the case related to Hemant Soren. The former CM of Jharkhand on Monday withdrew the petition challenging the High Court’s decision from the Supreme Court. In fact, he had challenged the court’s decision in the Supreme Court regarding permission to participate in the special session of the Assembly. He told the court that he wanted to withdraw this petition because the assembly session has now ended. Therefore this hearing is now meaningless.

Hearing was to be held today in the matter of participating in the assembly session

Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren had challenged the decision of Jharkhand High Court in the Supreme Court. This hearing was regarding attending the special session of the Assembly. The date of hearing in this case was kept for April 1. But even before the hearing started, advocate Kapil Sibal and advocate Pragya Singh Baghel, who represented Hemant Soren in the court, requested to withdraw the petition. Which was accepted by the Supreme Court.

On Monday, Hemant Soren’s lawyer Kapil Sibal sought permission to withdraw the petition saying that the special session of the Assembly has now ended. In such a situation, the hearing in this matter has now become meaningless. However, he said in the court that he wanted to keep the question of law open. The Supreme Court agreed to examine the questions of law on this issue.
