Hemant Soren announced Abu Awas Yojana in Ranchi

On the occasion of Independence Day, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren announced ‘Abua Awas Yojana’. Under this, it was told that in the next two years, the state government will spend more than Rs 15 thousand crore from its own funds to provide housing to the needy. Said that under this scheme the needy will get three room accommodation. Addressing the people, he said that when eight lakh rural homeless of the state did not get housing under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ from the Central Government, then the Chief Minister talked to the Prime Minister and NITI Aayog about providing housing to the homeless.
