Extorted money in daughter’s name by saying something wrong happened with minister’s son
A couple in Jhajha, Jamui became victims of cyber fraud. He got a call from cyber thugs and they said that they were calling from the DG office. The couple was told that their daughter’s friend had done something wrong with a minister’s son. His daughter is also involved in that scandal. Threatened the couple on the phone and said that their daughter was hanged upside down and they were beating her and would murder her. If you want to save your daughter’s life then send 35 thousand. After which the scared couple fell prey to the cyber thug and sent him Rs 25,000 online. When the couple informed their elder daughter about this, she called her younger sister. The younger daughter was unaware of these matters. Knowing this, the couple realized that they had become victims of cyber fraud. The couple has lodged a complaint in the cyber police station of Jamui. Businessman Kishore Kumar has become a victim of cyber fraud. He told that his daughter studies outside.
Cheating of Rs 50 thousand by showing fear of arrest of son in rape case
Recently, a cyber thug had defrauded a woman of Nehru Nagar of Patliputra police station of Patna of Rs 50 thousand in the name of implicating her son in a rape case. In this regard, the woman has lodged an FIR against an unknown criminal in the police station. According to the information received, a call came on the woman’s mobile from an unknown number. The person calling introduced himself as policeman Mukesh of the police station. He said that your son has committed rape and has been arrested. After this, the woman was also blackmailed by luring her into various kinds of things. Due to this the woman became very scared.
Heard the son’s crying voice, said – send the money, he will not go to jail.
In this case of Patna, the woman told the police that the person making the call heard the sound of a child crying. He was repeatedly saying that mom, save me, I have not done anything. These people are beating a lot. After this he started crying loudly. The woman got very scared after hearing the crying sound. After this the vicious person said send 50 thousand rupees immediately, otherwise your son will go to jail for three years. The woman immediately sent Rs 50,000 three times from her sister’s mobile phone to the vicious person’s number. As soon as he received the money, the crook blocked the number.
Cheated by saying that the son is involved in a rape case.
Such an incident came to light in Muzaffarpur recently. In which Rakesh Kumar, resident of Gola Road, was made the victim of fraud. A cyber thug called him and threatened him that he is calling the police department and his son has been caught in a rape case along with his friends. If you want to save him, send Rs 75 thousand. Otherwise we will send him to jail. In order to save his son, Rakesh Kumar sent Rs 25,000 each to the bank account number given by him twice. He transferred the money not online but by going to the bank. But when he called his son after this, the son denied any such incident. A case of this matter was again registered in the cyber police station. He was given this threat through WhatsApp call.
