Traffic affected in many parts of Delhi due to heavy rains
Due to heavy rains in the national capital last night, traffic was blocked in many parts of the city on Thursday and people were inconvenienced. Delhi Police posted on ‘X’ that traffic is affected on the Ring Road from Hanuman Mandir to ISBT due to waterlogging near the exit gate of the Inter-State Bus Stand (ISBT).
Snowfall in higher areas of Uttarakhand, rain in lower areas

First snowfall of the season after a long wait in Shimla
Moderate to heavy snowfall continued in the high hills and tribal areas of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday while the state capital Shimla received the first snowfall of this season. The snowfall has brightened the faces of residents, tourists and farmers. Shimla was seen wrapped in a thin sheet of snow while the five kilometer area between Kufri and Fagu was completely covered with snow. Despite the cold, tourists and residents gathered on Mall Road and Ridge in the center of the city to enjoy the snow.
First snowfall of the season in Srinagar, local people happy
Srinagar and other plains of Kashmir received the first snowfall of this winter season, bringing joy to the faces of the local people. Officials said snowfall in the plains started late Wednesday night and continued till morning at most places. Srinagar received about two inches of snowfall while Anantnag city received four inches, Qazigund nine, Pahalgam 10, Pulwama city two, Kulgam city three, Shopian city five, Ganderbal city two, Baramulla city three, Kupwara city Char and Gulmarg received 14 inches of snowfall.
