Heavy rain wreaked havoc in UP, 14 people died due to disaster in 24 hours, danger of flood in many districts

Lucknow: Due to the rains in Uttar Pradesh, the rivers are in spate. Due to which the risk of flood has increased in many districts. In the last 24 hours, about 14 people have died in the rain. In which four people have died in Barabanki. Three people each have lost their lives in Siddharthnagar and Shravasti. One person each died in Saharanpur, Rae Bareli, Hardoi and Sultanpur.

Southwest Monsoon active in UP

According to the Meteorological Center Lucknow, the southwest monsoon is fully active in the state. During this, there was heavy rain in many places. Highest rainfall of 21 cm has been recorded in Sambhal. Apart from this, 15 cm year was recorded in Bijnor. 13 cm of rain was recorded in Saharanpur, 13 cm in Jansath, 12 cm in Safipur of Unnao.

How long will it rain in UP

According to the Meteorological Department, it will rain in UP till July 18. In view of the heavy rains in Sambhal, an order has been issued to close the school. DM has issued orders to close all the schools. An order has been issued regarding continuous heavy rains. On the other hand, the water level of Yamuna increased in Sector 135 of Noida. More than 10 feet of flood water is present in the area. Rescue operation is being done with the help of boat, tractor, JCB, truck. Information has been received that more than 10 people are trapped in the water. The district administration team is present on the spot to evacuate the people. Let us tell you that it is raining in many districts of UP. In Ghazipur, 4 women died due to lightning. In Ballia also two people lost their lives due to lightning. 763 flood affected people were kept in relief camps.

Where are the floods in UP?

Let us tell you that a flood-like situation has arisen in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Flood continues to wreak havoc in Loni Tronica City area in Ghaziabad. The village is flooded. People had to spend the night in the open sky. Apart from this, rain-like situation has arisen in UP’s Sahanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Badaun, Mathura, Shamli and Fatehgarh. Where in Saharanpur, a population of two lakh 27 thousand of 104 villages is facing flood. 12 villages in Muzaffarnagar and six villages in Gautam Buddha Nagar are also affected by the floods. The water level of the rivers in the state has reached above the red mark. Signature City industrial area in Ghaziabad was flooded. Factories in the industrial area were closed. All the factories were closed due to water logging in the area.
